Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy uses focused pulses of acoustic energy, similar in principle to a sonic boom, delivered through the skin to an injured area of tendon, ligament, or bone. Rather than damaging tissue, these carefully controlled pulses stimulate the body's own healing response. They trigger new blood vessel growth, boost circulation, and switch on the biological signals involved in tissue repair. This helps "restart" stubborn, long-standing injuries that have stalled in their natural healing process.
It's a well-established, evidence-based treatment for chronic conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles and patellar tendinopathy, tennis and golfer's elbow, and rotator cuff issues, among others.
Treatment is delivered at carefully calibrated energy levels, well below any threshold associated with tissue damage, so it's safe and non-invasive. You may feel some discomfort during treatment and mild soreness for a day or two afterwards, but this settles quickly. Most people need a course of 3–5 sessions, spaced about a week apart, to see lasting improvement.
